Simolap Hot Spring was created by Agus Sitepu and local communities to open this unique natural place to visitors, creating jobs for nearby villages while protecting the National Park Leuser rainforest & biodiversity. The site is  managed with KPL (Komunitas Penyelamatan Leuser) and supported by international travelers and volunteers. Surrounded by primary rainforest, waterfalls, caves and rivers, Simolap offers a rare opportunity to experience nature, culture and conservation in one place.
